Low-Cost Airlines For Internal Flights In Thailand

If you’re planing your travel journey around Thailand, don’t assume that the bus or train is always the cheapest opinion. When it comes to long-distance travel in Thailand, a flight can often be the best choice in terms of convenience and price. And if you know in advance the dates you want to travel, there are sometimes promotional fares available which actually make flying cheaper than taking the bus or train.  However, here comes few airlines I could recommend for low-cost internal flights.

Most of the low-cost airlines in Thailand, such as Air Asia, Nok Air, and Lion Air, operate domestic services from Bangkok’s Don Muang airport. But there is Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways that have flights from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport.
Last but not least, Thai Smile, operate services from both Airports.

Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways are often thought to be the most expensive domestic airlines in Thailand. Although that might be true on some routes, it isn’t always the case so it is better to search and check the prices on each airline yourself before jumping into conclusions.
