VIA BUS – The App That Helps You With Bangkok Bus Line

VIA BUS is an android application, now available on the Apple Store. It was created by the “innovation hub” of Chulalongkorn University and BMTA (Bangkok Mass Transit Authority). It finally makes it easier to find oneself in the bus system of the huge capital.

A free application very practical

After choosing your bus stop, VIA BUS will provide you with a list of buses that transmits to that location. Buses equipped with a GPS can be tracked. Buses without GPS will appear at the bottom of the list, but you can be sure that they will go to the selected stop. It will just be necessary to be patient if they do not appear immediately.

Once you choose a bus, as in the screen:

VIA BUS is able to shape routes. You just have to enter your destination and the application will find the bus line that will make you happy.

The application even indicates the traffic status, and gives you the option to sort the buses with air conditioning or without!
