[Phuket] Presentation of the Pearl of the South

Phuket, also known as the Pearl of the South, is the largest and most famous island of Thailand.

Located about 850 km South of Bangkok in the Andaman Sea, has a length of 48 kilometers from north to south and its width is up to 21 kilometers. It has incredibly varied landscapes: rocky headlands, white sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, coconut, palm trees galore, small estuaries and lagoons, not forgetting the lush tropical vegetation that covers much of the island. Far from being flat, the island has its mountains, hills and valleys. The summit of Phuket, Mai Tao Sip Song, reaching even 529 meters. Thanks to its size, population, location and booming economy, Phuket is close to 39 small islands from one of the 77 provinces of Thailand.

Nai Yang

The three areas of Mai Khao, Nai Yang, and Nai Thon are at the extreme northwest of the island of Phuket. Popular and crowded unless other more bays south of the island, the beaches of these villages are nevertheless so attractive. Hotels are rarer than elsewhere but offer relative calm and a quality of superior service. Well located, these areas are ideally served by the road and near the bridge at the north end that connects the island to the mainland. Phuket International Airport is also located in this part of the island.

The North West
Berries Bang Tao, Surin and Kamala

Bang Tao, Surin and Kamala are three bays that follow in the direction of north to the south of Phuket. Less crowded than the beaches of Patong or Kata further south, these beaches have kept their natural charm while offering tourist accommodation of high quality. Luxury residences and hotels are scattered all along the coast in the most beautiful places, often offering tranquillity and a beautiful view of the sea.

The Southern Phuket
The localities of Rawai, Nai Harn and Chalong

The three areas of Nai Harn, Rawai, and Chalong are south of Phuket Island. Nai Harn is in the western part but to the east of the island in the event of Rawai and Chalong. Nai Harn remains a paradise for bathers with its turquoise water and its bucolic setting. Chalong and Rawai are the ideal place for those wishing to venture further into the Andaman Sea.
