[Bangkok] Ploenchit, Chidlom, Siam, Victory Monument…

The well-known BTS or skytrain passes through Pahonyothin Road and Rama 1 Road before dominating Sukhumvit Road for several kiolometers. Throughout the stations, BTS loosens the line on these two roads in order to welcome the disparate neighbourhoods that offer different perspectives of Bangkok.

Located not far from Chidlom area, Ploenchit is a haven of luxury residences. For instance, there exist some high-end hotels, corporate offices, and embassies; Great Britain and Switzerland – completing the landscape of this area.

Ploenchit is also the only area that allows easy access to both the most popular streets of Bangkok, namely Sukhumvit Road and Sathorn Road; by traveling through Withayu road that heads south or even by the BTS (Skytrain).

Ploenchit City is a major project set up by investors to give such area an extra dimension. The overall project will include the construction of several high-end condominiums and commercial spaces. Since the grand opening of a new luxury mall in 2014, Central Embassy, this place is doing a productive job in attracting local and foreign consumers.

The area shelters Chidlom BTS station and a neighborhood that looks in its configuration to the neighboring district of Ploent Chit. The high-end residential properties demonstrate their fantastic atmosphere. Significantly added value, this area is also accessible by BTS Ratchadamri, from Silom line.

chidlomJust opposite to the Chidlom BTS station, the popular Central Chidlom is well-known for the real fashion addicts. Central department store has its ground floor of a high-end supermarket where European consumers can feel like home, thanks to many imported products such as cheese, yogurt, wine, etc.

This area is very well supplied with shopping centers. In addition to Central Chidlom, there exist Central Embassy, Amarin Plaza, Gaysorn Plaza as well as Central World, dedicated as the largest mall in Thailand and as one of the largest buildings ever built by man.

Siam, called after the former name of Thailand, is undoubtedly the shopping paradise and the center of Bangkok with its BTS station where 8653510136_dc07768f6f_bthe two lines meet. Thus, all the main areas of the capital are easily reachable in less than 15 minutes (Ploenchit, Sukhumvit Road, Silom and Sathorn Road, Thonburi, Victory Monument, Ari, Chatuchak Park).

Epicenter of the shopping activity in the capital, Siam district is popular for its many malls. Starting with Siam Paragon, it provides an overview of everything that Thailand can offer in terms of fashion, luxury, crafts, food, and entertainment (luxury cinema, aquarium, karaoke, bowling, etc.).

Besides Siam Paragon, Siam is also found in his two cousins Siam Discovery and Siam Center. Furthermore, MBK center is popular among tourists for its hundreds of small shops. In front of Siam Paragon, Siam district or Siam One offers an atmosphere that appeals to teens with pedestrian streets lined with original boutiques.

Victory monument

Victory monument is one of the liveliest districts of Bangkok where it exists a huge traffic circle, military monument that recalls the victory of Victory-Monument-SmallThailand during a short battle of the Second World War. In sum, the Victory Monument is equivalent to the Parisian Arc de Triomphe .

Consisting with shopping centers and major intersections in the capital, this area is bustling with many small markets, small malls, restaurants, and street bars. A lot of people pass daily through this neighborhood thanks to the BTS station and bus stop that provide quick access to all parts of the city.

Summer-Street-Food-Truck-Ari-Seafood-Grill-Drink-Bangkok-Dooddot-12Ari is an unusual and rather upscale neighborhood located in the northern part of Bangkok. Ari BTS Station gives easy access to many corners of the city, but different sois (streets) of this area give the feeling of being part of a village cut off from the bustling city. Some houses and condominiums in the area are indeed stunning. They provide the mentality on a human scale that blends perfectly with the urbanism.

Ari market is renowned for hosting some restaurants, chic bars, and trends that attract affluent Thai people, especially the artistic community, where it leads some to compare Ari to Paris Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Furthermore, the main street of Ari district is famous for its small restaurants that have traditional Thai street dishes in minutes.

Along the Victory Monument to the area of Ari, many companies have set up their offices, condominiums projects, and a private hospital (Phaya Tai 2) ensuring that quality care is available nearby.
