The Bangkok Observation Tower is located on the edge of the Chao Phraya River in Khlong San district. For a few years, large development and development projects have been growing in the city. This new shopping temple that will open at the end of the year enjoys a strategic location between the two towers of one of the most prestigious residences of the Thai capital: Mandarin Oriental.
The Area is still difficult to access by public transport, the city of Bangkok has planned large facilities to facilitate the movement of cars and access to boats that navigate between the two banks. The Siam Icon Group has also invested more than 2 billion THB in the construction of the line “Gold Line Monorail“. The 2.7 km long metro line will run northward along the Chao Phraya River and serve four stations.
A tower of a record height for Thailand
At a height of more than 459 metres, the Bangkok Observation Tower will exceed Thailand’s highest building of more than 100m: the Mahanakhon Tower (314m). To enjoy the exceptional view from the observatory of the tower, foreigners will have to pay entrance fees of 750 THB (about 20 Euros) and 375 THB for the locals.
This new project would allow the Thai capital to join the Top 15 world cities with the highest skyscrapers. Once the project is complete, only Petronas towers in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) would retain their status as the tallest skyscraper in Southeast Asia.
A buoyant future for Bangkok, which continues to modernize and its real estate market is still more dynamic, as well as for Thailand, a country popular with investors but also by expatriates and tourists.
