Muay Thai is much more than just a sport in Thailand, it is a cultural pride full of traditions. You wish to know more about it? We actually wrote an article on it, just here!
Like a normal local event in Thailand, the annual Wai Khru Muay Thai Ceremony will propose several activities and stands, among those: the traditional and delicious typical Thai dishes, a lot of handmade shopping, Muay Thai souvenirs and some cultural and historical lessons.
Thai local cultural experiences will also be there, such as the ancient arts of Yantra tattooing and Yantra calligraphy, plus Aranyik sword making from Ayutthaya’s famed sword village.
Thai martial art performances are also interactive with audience members. Indeed, participants will be invited to realise an “energy test” through several Muay Thai exercises like kicking a banana tree, punching limes and chopping water … 🙂
