Sam Rap Thai Institute, promoting Thai food worldwide

On Friday, 29 November 2019 the Ministry of Culture Mr. Ittiphol Khunpluem chaired the opening ceremony of the “Sam Rap Thai Institute” to promote the excellence of Thai gastronomy.

Thai Fight Company Limited, in partnership with the prestigious Chulalongkorn University, has created the “Sam Rap Thai” Institute with the idea of ​​exposing and promoting Thai local cuisine to the world through various activities such as TV shows, cooking competitions or even festivals planned in Thailand but also internationally.

 

The Sam Rap Thai Institute also wants to disseminate Thai cooking methods and preserve traditional Thai cooking methods by creating a Thai cooking course to present the uniqueness of Thainess through the authentic “Original” taste of Thailand.

 

In addition, the Sam Rap Thai Institute has also established the Siam Charat Award, an excellency award that guarantees the quality of Thai cuisine and convey standards to the world. Furthermore, Siam Charat is a global award that motivates restaurants to preserve Thai local food, in the choice of ingredients and cooking methods.
