SAMUI FESTIVAL 2018: In celebration of the 120th anniversary of the island

Once again this year, the famous Samui Festival is back on the island, this time to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Koh Samui.

Local governmental organizations, private institutions from different sectors, citizens and expats, are united together to organize a week of varied activities for all ages and tastes all around the island.

This year, the festival will be held from September 25th until September 30th. Many events and activities will be spread around the island, such as traditional parades, Muy Thai fights, street markets, marathons, concerts, cooking demonstrations, cycling competitions, kids’ activities. Merchants and artisans will expose their local products and handmade crafts, in street markets around the island.

Profits from Samui Festival 2018 will be donated to support Bhavana Bodhigun Vocational College providing free education to Thai children from around the country.
