Naklua / Wongamat areas (นาเกลือ / วงค์อมาตย์)
The Naklua and Wongamat areas (which we will treat as one neighborhood in this article) are located in the northern part of the city. This is a residential area where calm and tranquility are the key-words. It is also here that the famous Sanctuary of Truth has been built and the brand new Terminal 21, one of the largest shopping centers in town is in the immediate vicinity!

Central Pattaya area – พัทยากลาง
As its name suggests, this is downtown Pattaya. Ideal for those who wish to be in the heart of the action and have everything nearby. It consists of 6 main arteries with Beach Road, Second Road and Third Road from north to south, as well as North Pattaya Road, Central Pattaya Road and South Pattaya Road from East to West.
All of course connected by numerous small streets where you can find various shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, etc. This is also where most of the shopping centers, the Walking Street and its wild nightlife, the port, hospitals, the future Pattaya tram network, etc. are located.
In terms of housing, the offer is relatively limited compared to other areas but the properties available for sale and rent are generally very good and are very popular among buyers and tenants!
Pratumnak area – พระตำหนัก
Located just south of the city, Pratumnak is a hill surrounded by the sea, this beautiful area offers the perfect compromise between convenience and tranquility. It is a residential area that is very popular among families because of the tranquility and the large housing offer. You will also find the largest beach in the area, which is about 6 kilometers away, where you can enjoy various water sports activities as well as numerous restaurants and cafes by the sea.

Na Jomtien area – นาจอมเทียน

A few days ago, Ekasit Ngampichet, president of the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association, said he hoped Pattaya would exceed 19 million visitors each year, starting in 2019. East Pattaya area, also called the “Dark Side” is a relatively unknown area among tourists.
