[Phuket] North West of Phuket; Bang Tao, Surin, and Kamala

Bang Tao, Surin and Kamala are three bays that follow in the direction of north to the south of the island of Phuket, on its western part. Less crowded than the beaches of Patong or Kata further south, these beaches have kept their natural charm while offering tourist accommodation of high quality. Luxury residences and hotels are scattered all along the coast in the most beautiful places, often offering tranquillity and beautiful views of the sea.

Bang Tao

Bang Tao Bay on the west coast of Phuket Island, bounded on the north by the beach Nang Yai Surin and the south, is one of the most attractive of the island. Its six kilometers of white sands with its crystal clear water are a dream for bathers.

This heavenly atmosphere has attracted six luxury hotels including the Banyan Tree and Dusit Thani Phuket. They came together to form the Laguna Phuket. Gigantic area where it is possible to connect each of the hotel complex by lagoons or paths lined with tropical trees, Laguna Phuket is one of a number of destinations throughout Asia. All services are made available for customers to spend an unforgettable holiday at the resort without having to leave. In addition to renowned spas, multiple pools, restaurants, and bars; Laguna Phuket have its own riding club and a golf course.

Outside of Laguna Phuket, other hotels, resorts and residences border the Bang Tao Beach. Both the southern parts of the bay are more concentrated, especially the northern part that remain very calm and preserved.hhggggg

Surin

A few hundred meters south of Bang Tao Bay is the place called Surin. Composed of three beaches interspersed with small hills that separate them, Surin has a greatly natural charm.

The very north of Surin, also called Pansea Beach, is reserved for the two luxury hotels– Amanpuri and Chedi.

The main Surin beach is only a few hotels that overlook the sea while others are present as well as residential parks on the slopes of the hill overlooking the beach, offering amazing views of the Andaman Sea. More than its only charm, this beach is also known for the varied cuisines of local food at low cost through the hotel restaurants, and especially on the Phuket beaches with the best trendy international restaurants.gfdjng

Kamala

Located just south of Surin beach, north of Patong; Kamala is a charming village nestled in a bay of 3 km. long. Major hotels are also rarely found, giving a homely atmosphere to the locality. Kamala has also all the services tourists can expect, i.e. water sports, scuba diving, restaurants and bars, shopping street, and local market.

The southern part of the bay is in form of a hill. Some resorts and luxury villas are settled there with an exceptional view of the bay, sea, and surrounding mountains.

Two attractions come to give added value over Kamala beaches further north of the island. The first is a popular theme park, named Fanta Sea, which proposes to combine the time for a night tour with the rich cultural heritage of Thailand in an exuberant show where there are animals, dancers, pyrotechnics and 3D animations. The park also has a restaurant of 4,000 seats, one of the largest in the world. The second, more traditional tourist attraction is the cute little Buddhist temple Baan Kamala, nestled at the southern tip of the beach.Capture1234
